Cliff Pristas is a US Army Veteran and the Program Coordinator for the Veteran Farmers of NJ, he served 4.5 years active duty from the fall of 1986 through July of 1991 and earned the rank of Sargent.

Cliff obtained his B.S. from PSU in Environmental Resource Management and a Masters in Biology from ESU, he has taught Environmental Science at both Rutgers University and Fairleigh Dickinson, and has been involved with farming and agriculture for over 20 years. Cliff raises chickens for eggs, has a small hazelnut tree orchard and works on organic farms. He is passionate about sustainable and organic farming practices.
