Free Workshops for Veterans and Active-Duty Military!

Discover the power of creativity and connection through our Visual Art for Military Wellness program! Veterans and active-duty military members are invited to participate in free art workshops including glassblowing, glass fusing, stained glass, glass painting, and pottery. This unique program blends visual art with mental health awareness, building a supportive and creative environment. This program is presented in partnership with Wheaton Arts and the George Family Center for Healing Arts at Rowan University.

Workshop Highlights:

  • Free for Veterans and Active-Duty Military: Explore your creativity at no cost.
  • Exhibit Your Artwork: Showcase your creations and share your journey in a final exhibition.
  • Mental Health Resources: Local Veterans Affairs representatives will provide resources, answer questions at each session.

How to Register:

  • Sign Up Today! Use the links below to secure your spot. Space is limited, so please register only for workshops you can commit to attending.
  • Cancellation Policy: If your plans change, notify Pamela at pweichmann@wheatonarts.org at least one (preferably two) weeks in advance to release your seat for others.
  • Feel free to sign up for more than one session to connect with others and make the most of the program.

We warmly welcome returning participants and value their continued interest in the program. However, to expand access and ensure that new individuals have the opportunity to participate, priority placement will be given to those who have not previously taken part in the program. Past participants are encouraged to remain engaged and may request to be placed on a waiting list should space become available. Weekend Glassblowing Workshop
April 18 & 19, Saturday & Sunday
