Ways to Give

For 50 years, WheatonArts has been an anchor arts organization in our community. It is our honor and privilege to offer world-class exhibitions, transformative artists’ residencies, and hands-on classes that encourage lifelong engagement with the arts.

By supporting WheatonArts, you play a vital role in ensuring our ability to present exhibitions, classes, and programs of the highest caliber. Your gift is invaluable to this institution’s future, impacting the experience of all those who enjoy it. While the unrestricted operating support provided through our Annual Fund is always appreciated, we are pleased to offer the following targeted giving opportunities:

Annual Fund

The Annual Fund helps to cover WheatonArts expenses, including the care and conservation of our Museum and Folklife collections, exhibition costs, public programs, Artist Studio supplies and operations, grounds maintenance, and much more. In our fifth decade of serving the community and providing access to the arts for thousands each year, our supporters help sustain our organization. Your 100% tax-deductible donation will help ensure a successful and vital future for Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center. Every gift makes a difference!

Gifts of Stock

Gifts of appreciated securities (stocks, bonds, or mutual funds held for more than one year) are excellent ways to support WheatonArts. Such gifts are easy to make and may provide a more significant tax benefit than an equivalent gift in cash.

The easiest way to give securities is to have them electronically delivered by your broker via DTC to our gift account located at Ingalls & Snyder. You or your broker can contact our Director of Development, Rody Baron, at rbaron@wheatonarts.org to request a Gift Securities Notification Form. You will be asked to provide your name, telephone number, the name of the stock, number of shares, the approximate date you will make the gift, the estimated value of the gift, and the designation for your gift (General, Membership, Operations, Exhibition Support, etc.). If you are using a broker, please provide their name and telephone number.

Leave a Legacy

Contributions from individuals will play an increasingly vital role in shaping our next 50 years. You can create an enduring legacy by remembering WheatonArts in your will. Regardless of your estate size, a bequest is one of the simplest ways to personally make a difference in the future of WheatonArts. When making a bequest, please inform us of your plans, as it is helpful for many reasons. First, it will help us to use your gift precisely as intended. Second, it allows WheatonArts to make a note of your gift as we plan for the future. And finally, it allows WheatonArts the opportunity to honor you and show your appreciation for your planned gift.

Matching Gifts

Multiply the impact of your donation! Many employers will match charitable contributions from their employees, doubling the impact of your gift.

The process is simple:
1. Obtain the Employee Matching Gift Forms from your employer, many of which are available online.
2. Complete and submit the form per your employer’s instructions.

Program Support

Special programming and funds exist to ensure that artists, students, and the community can continue to be engaged in the creative process and the positive results it yields in enriching our lives. WheatonArts hosts a variety of programs that can be donated to directly, including general Glass Studio support, the Creative Glass Fellowship Program, the Glasstown Collective Program, and general Educational Programming. Tribute and Memory

A Tribute or Memorial gift to WheatonArts is a thoughtful way to honor family or friends, celebrate a special occasion, or express sympathy on the loss of a loved one.

When you make a gift in tribute or memory, a personalized acknowledgment is sent to the individual or family being honored. The size of the gift is not mentioned, but the family receives a listing of donor names and addresses for their acknowledgment.

Gifts will support the Annual Fund unless otherwise designated by the family. If you would like more information, assistance, or prefer to make a gift in other ways, please contact Rody Baron at 856.825.6800 ext. 118 or rbaron@wheatonarts.org.

Any of the above options you choose will help ensure that WheatonArts can continue to provide a world of inspiration and creative opportunities for generations to come. We look forward to working with you and your advisors to structure a gift that will best fulfill your charitable goals.
