Discover Engaging Classes & Workshops For All Ages & Skill Levels!

WheatonArts provides wonderful opportunities to explore various art forms, aesthetics, and cultures through interactive creative experiences. Explore multi-session classes, intensives, and workshops designed to accommodate various ages, skill levels, and time schedules. Many classes/workshops are open to teenagers, encouraging multi-generational experiences. All classes take place within the scenic grounds and facilities of WheatonArts. Registration deadlines are typically one to two weeks prior to the scheduled class date. Gift Cards are also available!

POTTERY / CERAMICS

Learn the process of designing & building unique pottery with our talented ceramic artists.
Registrants must be 16 or older to participate.

DRAWING/PAINTING

Explore designing characters and compositions with acrylics, gouache, pencils, and watercolors to morph the familiar with the unfamiliar to express your worldly vision!

GLASS FUSING

Learn the fundamentals of designing and creating kiln-formed fused glass panels and plates! 
Must be 16 or older to participate.

STAINED GLASS

Learn the fundamentals and create your own stained glass projects using the copper foil technique! 
Must be 14 or older to participate.

HOLISTIC CREATIVITY

Discover the holistic approach to Creativity! Practice effective methods that can heal and revitalize your creative process. These take place virtually via Zoom. 

YOUNG ARTISTS

For ages 6 to 13 years old: Get kids outdoors this summer while growing their science knowledge, appreciation for nature, and artistic ability!

ENCAUSTICS (Wax)

Experiment with wax as an artistic medium!
Designed for ages 16 & older.

An encaustic painting by workshop instructor Sandra Koberlein with a design of a bee at the top over a beige portion is the subject of the image. There are several stripes of white & green with several small dots of yellow & large dots of blue below the beige portion.

Cancelation Policy: Refunds will be given up to one week prior to the beginning of the workshop. After this time, your workshop fee is non-refundable. WheatonArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to minimal enrollment. If cancellation occurs, WheatonArts will refund all workshop fees. A $25.00 fee will be charged to those who do not show up for their appointment. We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment; otherwise, it will be considered a no-show, except in the case of illness. Are you feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19?
