Samantha Bleeker is a Philadelphia based artist and BFA candidate in Glass at Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Temple University. Her sculptural work combines imagery, form, and texture to construct dreamlike scenes that explore memory and the subconscious experience. Bleeker has been practicing visual art for over five years and began working with glass in high school, continuing to pursue the medium in depth during her undergraduate studies. She has served as a teaching assistant for glass courses, has been awarded the Rome Abroad Scholarship and the Juror’s Pick Art Department Award, and has exhibited work regionally.
