Joshua Metzger is a bright, up-and-coming artist with a concentration in glass making. Originally from Connecticut, Josh grew up heavily involved in both performing and visual arts. He began his glassblowing journey in 2014 when he was first introduced to the craft at the University of South Alabama. In the following years, Josh continued to pursue his passion for glass with local studios back home in Connecticut. In 2019 he resumed his education at Salem Community College, where he further honed his skills in traditional glass blowing and flameworking, both scientific and artistic, and kiln-formed glass. Josh will graduate with a dual major in Scientific Glass Technology and Glass Art in the spring of 2022.
