My name is George Bono. I was born and raised in Gloucester, Mass. and moved to South Jersey 40 yrs ago. I have always enjoyed antiquing esp. toys and games. I always enjoyed drawing and painting. I decided to try to paint some checkerboards to see if I could do it. Soon it turned to a hobby and a passion. After painting some boards for gifts for family and friends, they convinced me to go into the craft business.

I started with checkerboards then went on to paint Parcheesi boards and backgammon and Chinese checkers. I have also recently started painting old pub and inn signs.
