Stop by the Museum of American Glass on August 11th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for expanded activity stations that go along with our new “Symbiotic Spheres” exhibition. Get hands-on while learning about art and science with a Chromotography, DIY kaleidoscope, and Visual Light Spectrum project! Free with Admission. Suggested for ages 6 and up.
Feel free to take a break from creating to join one or both of our special tours:
2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. – Curator’s Tour with Ben Wright
Ben will provide insight into the studio practices and techniques used by the exhibiting artists of Symbiotic Spheres.
3:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Microscopic World with Robert and Sarah Max Beck
The Becks will begin the hour with a discourse about their artwork and bio project, “To Fetch a Pail of Water”. You will then be invited to look through their microscope at water samples.
