• Introduction by Merry May and Nancy Ely
• Traditional glassmaking demonstrations by glass artist Katey Murphy
• Light refreshments provided by the artists

Enjoy a day exploring & experiencing the WheatonArts campus before this special event! This timed event is free & open to the public, however, an admission ticket is needed to access the Museum of American Glass, Folklife Center, Pottery, and Flamework Studios.

For this project, Merry May and Nancy Ely were awarded a grant from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts under the “Folk & Traditional Arts Apprenticeships” category. This grant type encourages communities to continue passing on their valued traditions in traditional settings, by providing stipends so that master folk artists can help apprentices develop greater skills.
