January 19 – Percussion Pods: Rattles

Suggested Ages: 6 & above
Make your own musical instrument! Rattles are created out of clay or other materials, which have a hollow body containing small, loose beads of clay that make noise when shaken. In this workshop, we will use clay to make these small percussive pods. A variety of surface treatment techniques will be demonstrated for you to experiment with.
