“The launching point for my current work is a wide variety of bold imagery and the stories they tell. Prior to discovering clay in college, photography was my first passion as a teen. Using my own images on clay has been a revelation in my creative process.”

Collingswood-based ceramic artist Evelyn Taylor Bonner has been working with clay for more than 40 years. She earned a BFA in Ceramics and Art Education from Syracuse University, and spent 4 years as a tile production ceramist at the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works in Doylestown. After a 20-year career in arts marketing at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, Evelyn currently spends most of her time in her studio.
