EmBee Daniels is a Connecticut-based fiber artist, originally from New Jersey, whose work reimagines landscape through wool, alpaca, silk, and other natural fibers, including fiber from her own animals. Inspired by coastlines, open fields, and quiet transitional spaces, her pieces are often mistaken for paintings at first glance- until the texture of the fibers reveals itself. Her work explores light, atmosphere, and a sense of place, inviting viewers into scenes that feel both familiar and gently transportive.

Working from a “farm to fiber to felt art” philosophy, Daniels creates each piece through a layered process that combines wet felting with detailed needle felting. Building her compositions slowly by hand, she uses fiber as both structure and brushstroke- blending color, shaping light, and refining depth with a barbed needle. The result is a body of work that bridges painting and textile, where material and landscape are inseparably connected.
