I create unique, hand-crafted lamps and shades. Following a long career as a Psychologist, I returned to my Artistic roots, having studied Art as an undergraduate at Sonoma State University. Over a ten-year period, I trained in the creation of lamps and lamp shades, in Berkeley, CA. Then in 2023 I moved to the artist community of Arden, DE and launched my business, Arden Lamp Works. My lamps are fashioned out of found art objects such as vases and figurines, many vintage. Each shade is created from sheets of mica embedded with real plant material. Shades are designed to compliment a particular lamp. Every pair is unique.
