Tessa Carlton is a full-time potter who has lived in South Jersey her entire life. After graduating from Rowan College at Gloucester County, she earned an academic certificate in Ceramics from Cumberland County College. She began working at WheatonArts as an intern under Terry Plasket and became an Associate Potter in 2016. Her work can be found under the trade name “Tessa Cotta” in the General Store at WheatonArts, at the Madd Potter’s booth in the West End Garage, Cape May, NJ, and at various craft shows throughout the New Jersey and Pennsylvania area. She specializes in making functional yet beautiful ceramics suitable for daily use.
