FESTIVAL OF FINE CRAFT
at WheatonArts

October 4 & 5, 2014

10am to 5pm Both Days (rain or shine)

ADMISSION  $10.00 Adults. $9.00 Senior Adults (62+)

$7.00 Students. Children 5 and under are free.

FESTIVAL SPECIAL! Ticket good for both days with a “Tomorrow Pass” which is available upon request.

Please note: Only service animals are allowed on the grounds.
The Festival of Fine Craft offers two days of an art and shopping experience for the entire family and features over 130 artists and craftspeople that will present and sell traditional and contemporary works.

Veteran artists as well as artists never before seen at the Festival display their unique creations in a beautiful scenic setting. From inspired paintings, decorative ceramics and novel jewelry, to innovative wood sculptures and vibrant wearables, the festival offers something exciting for everyone.

Beer and Wine Garden featuring Flying Fish Brewery and Auburn Road Vineyard. Limited editions of hand blown beer and wine glasses made by the WheatonArts Glass Studio artists will also be available! (Permit Number 15000673)
WheatonArts Member Tent, where in between shopping, Members can enjoy some WheatonArts Hospitality. Meet other members rest your legs

WheatonArts Traveling Glassblowers

 

A Variety of Artist Demonstrations

Visit the WheatonArts Travelling Volunteer Glassblowers outdoors, and discover the arts of  jewelry making, silk painting, spinning and weaving, chair caning, woodturning, intaglio etching, wheel-thrown pottery, broom making and more.

Plus, demonstrations of the Ukrainian Traditional Arts: Weaving with Vera Nakonechny, Beadwork with Vasyl Nayda and Pysanky with Stephanie Hryckowian in the Folklife and Education Center.

Three Hands-On Opportunities

Make Your Own Basket with Mary May, Paint Your Own Silk Scarf with Ebru Rich Silk Designs or take an Aluminum casting workshop with Steve Morse of Sea Robin Studio ( for an additional fee)
WheatonArts Annual Pumpkin Patch

Glass pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and colors will
be available for purchase outside the Glass Studio
in a special pumpkin patch.

FAMILY ACTIVITIES

 

 

Faux Stained Fall Leaves, Paper Beads, Day of the Dead Masks, Beaded Spiders, Felt Jack-O-Lanterns, Scarecrow Construction, Sidewalk Chalk

 

Musical Entertainment both days from noon to 4 p.m. Music by Package Goods Orchestra
