Lynn Richards is a third-generation artist whose work reflects a lifelong engagement with urban planning, cycling, and design. With training in environmental science and public administration, she creates kiln-fused glass and steel sculptures inspired by the built and natural environment—transforming houses, trees, and movement into vibrant, dimensional forms. She has worked independently in glass for five years and trained for over a decade under a master glass artist, building on more than 30 years of experience across mediums including watercolor, printmaking, and paper-making. Her work has been exhibited at the Dorchester Center for the Arts, Sandwich Glass Museum, and Art in the Orchard, and she continues to expand her practice through teaching and community engagement in the Boston area.

Each kiln-fused piece is one of a kind, made with Bullseye COE 90 glass and composed of 10–30 hand-cut elements assembled before firing. Select works are fired a second time and slumped into three-dimensional forms, then finished for hanging or displayed in custom steel structures.
