Mercury Swift is a fourth-generation craftsperson and first-generation artist based in Baltimore, MD. Mercury has an obsession with creating work that will outlive them – resulting in a body of precious pieces that can be passed down for generations. They use traditional craft disciplines of flamework glass beadmaking, silversmithing, and bead weaving to create wearable works of art inspired by nature, astronomy and biology, as well as body-modification, rave culture, and mythology.
