Cannon graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. She founded La Bottega Gallery/Studio in the Glasstown Arts District in Millville, NJ. She is a member of the American Color Print Society, a Signature artist in STROBE-ARTC, and active in the local art center RRCA and galleries.

The etching process has not changed in hundreds of years, yet Cannon finds that little is understood about it in this technical age. She gets great satisfaction from creating something totally by hand. She loves looking for different ways to create a variety of lines, shades, and textures in her plates. The image is etched with acid into the plate and inked by hand. The plate is then rolled through the press. Cannon has Nature, Landscapes, Weeds, and Fantasy series. The collections are ongoing and always growing.
