Event Details

Third Saturdays, May – December
1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Engage with works of art and archaeological artifacts through talks led by archaeologists, curators, and artists. Each speaker will provide a unique, personal perspective on their role as it relates to the topics addressed in the two special exhibits, From the Ground Up and Mine Moonlight: Artists Working in Philadelphia’s River Wards, in the Museum of American Glass.

July 16: Meet members of the AECOM archaeology, history, and digital media team!
Join us as we explore the exhibition From the Ground Up with AECOM archaeologists, historians, and digital media staff to discuss the history being unearthed during the excavation in Philadelphia’s River Wards. Be among the first to see the most recent artifact discoveries since the exhibit was installed! Enjoy activities that allow participants to explore the different aspects of archaeology and the I-95 project, including prehistoric (Native American) artifacts, 3D visualization and printing technologies, historical research, and a handwriting station.
