Meet the Artist Reception, Sunday, September 10th, 20172 to 4 pm

Curated by Michelle Post & Dave Carrow

Curatorial Statement:
Time– “It may seem slippery and maddeningly abstract, but it’s also deeply intimate, infusing our every word and gesture.” – Alan Burdick, “The Secret Life Of Time”, New Yorker Magazine, 2016.
How does an artist tell, keep, use, waste, or pass time? What is an artist’s interpretation of physical, biological and psychological time? These are questions posed for, “About Time”, presented by the WheatonArts Gallery of Fine Craft and curated by Dave Carrow and Michelle Post of Millville, NJ. 24 artists, predominately sculptors, are making work specifically for this show. They were given no restraints or limitations in the creation of their entries.
Post and Carrow are both sculptors, art collectors, curators, and gardeners.
All invited artists are people they have worked with professionally or whose artwork they have come to know and respect in Central Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania and most recently in South Jersey.
