Aimee Eckert earned a degree in theatre/costume design and has loved creating art since childhood. She spent over ten years working at a New York City-based design magazine before switching careers to teach middle school English and designing her own clothing line.
Aimee loves making something new and interesting out of something old and forgotten. Aimee’s clothing line, Caravan, is made solely from vintage materials. Each handmade piece is size inclusive with a unique bohemian vibe. Caravan’s reversible box top and kimono designs are sold at the Philadelphia Museum of Art store. A lot of thought and love go into the design and production of each item, making them not just clothing items but treasures you will have in your closet for many years.
