A New Season of Creativity at WheatonArts!
MILLVILLE, NJ (April 1, 2026) – Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center is excited to welcome visitors back for the season beginning April 2, kicking off another year filled with creativity, discovery, and hands-on experiences. Guests can look forward to a variety of new and engaging activities throughout the season, along with a brand-new event and new exhibits at the Museum of American Glass and the Down Jersey Folklife Center. From live glassblowing demonstrations to interactive workshops and family-friendly events, there is something for everyone to enjoy as the campus comes alive once again this spring.

Explore new and returning exhibits in the Museum of American Glass and the Down Jersey Folklife Center.
- Ghost Optics and Portals and Passages in the Museum of American Glass will be on display April through December
- Paved with Promise: Immigration and Cultural Heritage (traveling exhibit) in the Down Jersey Folklife Center will be on display April 2 through May 3.
- Transformations: The Wasserstein Collection of Contemporary Glass in the Museum of American Glass, and Communities and Cultures of Down Jersey in the Down Jersey Folklife Center will continue to be on display from April through December.
- Join us for a daily guided tour, “Highlights of the Museum of American Glass.”
- Explore the memories and stories of the immigration experience during the Down Jersey Folklife Paved with Promise exhibit opening on April 4th.
Experience a collection of artist demonstrations throughout the campus!
- Watch live artist demonstrations in the Glass, Pottery, and Flameworking studios.
- Walk the Nature Trail and enjoy a picnic on the grounds.
- Shop the Museum Stores
Create a series of hands-on projects for all ages and skill levels!
- (New!) Thursdays in July and August – Family Art Studio, where families can participate in a guided art-making experience. There will be four rotating activities; one activity per Thursday.
- (New!) Fridays in July and August – Plein Air Studio, where visitors can create their own nature-inspired images using provided materials like paper on easels and various drawing utensils. This is a self-guided activity.

WheatonArts is open from April through December, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday through Sunday. Special event hours may vary. Admission tickets can be purchased online or at the gate. Closed Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
