Trick-or-Treat at WheatonArts during HalloWheaton
MILLVILLE, NJ (September 30, 2025) – WheatonArts will be presenting an afternoon of diverse family activities throughout the campus on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 1pm to 4pm. Visitors are welcome to Trick-or-Treat in Halloween costumes and meet traditional costumed characters played by the talented Mystic Realms actors. Attendees are also welcome to visit the Museum of American Glass for special exhibit tours, visit the exhibit in the Down Jersey Folklife Center, watch live demonstrations in our Artist Studios, participate in a campus-wide scavenger hunt, enjoy a bite to eat, and more.
HalloWheaton is FREE to the public, part of WheatonArts Family Days! Presented by PNC Arts Alive!
Event highlights on October 25th include:
- Trick-or-Treating around campus and opportunities to meet with traditional costumed characters for photos.
- Visit our community partner booths for various activities & games, including Cumberland County Library, Ocean City Library, and more.
- Free family art activities such as Chalk-Topia: Sidewalk Chalk Station, Paper Chain Skeletons, Halloween Worksheet Packet, and Felt Pencil Toppers. Families can also participate in the campus-wide scavenger hunt.
- Take a self-guided tour of the Folklife Center to experience the current exhibit, Communities and Cultures of Down Jersey. The exhibition offers a cross-cultural exploration of folk and traditional arts as associated with their ethnic, occupational, and regional versions.
- Visit the Museum and take a highlights tour of the exhibitions, Transformations: The Wasserstein Collection of Contemporary Glass and redundancies, curated by David Schnuckel.
- Create a fused glass magnet, pendant, or suncatcher in the Education Studio for a discounted fee of $10 per magnet/pendant and $20 per suncatcher.
