Volunteers are Vital to the Operations of WheatonArts

From our Glass Studio Narrators to our Special Event Assistants, volunteers make a difference at WheatonArts every day. If you are interested in volunteering at an inspiring arts center that exists to serve the community by providing access to the arts and creative process, then consider becoming a WheatonArts volunteer! We have opportunities available for every interest and skill level.

Current volunteer opportunities:

  • Museum Greeters or Docents*
  • Glass Studio Narrators
  • Arts and Crafts Instructors and Demonstrators
  • Studio and Program Assistants
  • Special Event Assistants
  • Administrative Assistants
  • Special Projects Assistants
  • WheatonArts Community Ambassadors

Are you considering volunteering at WheatonArts?

All interested volunteers are invited to meet with our Volunteer Coordinator to explore their areas of interest and expertise. After that, you will be matched up with the opportunity that best fits your interests and schedule. Staff and volunteers work together, in the public eye and behind-the-scenes, to provide fun and educational experiences involving art, history, and culture.

Volunteers are eligible for free admission and special discounts. Volunteers that complete 100 hours of service receive a special “Make-Your-Own” experience in our Glass Studio!

If you are interested in learning more about our volunteer opportunities, please contact Taral Thompson at or 856.825.6800, ext. 114 for more information about our next volunteer orientation.
