WHEATONARTS WINTER SCHEDULE TO BEGIN JANUARY 4
MILLVILLE, NJ – Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center will begin its winter operating schedule on Monday, January 4. In January, February and March the museum stores will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. No ticket is required to shop and stroll. The Museum of American Glass and the Artist Studios are closed during these three months. The museum and the studios will reopen on April 1 when WheatonArts returns to its standard six-day operating schedule.
WheatonArts is a participant in Museums on Us®, a customer-benefit program offering free admission for a Bank of America cardholder to the finest museums and cultural institutions from coast to coast on the first full weekend of each month of 2016. In February and March, each Bank of America customer that shows their Bank of America card and their I.D. on the program dates will receive a “20% Off A Single-Item” coupon valid in one museum store.
WheatonArts will present the Mid-Winter Antiques Show on February 6 and 7. This show attracts over 40 quality dealers and hundreds of visitors from the Mid-Atlantic region. Located in the Event Center, attendees explore a wide selection of antique furniture, books, ceramics, glass, jewelry, linens, memorabilia, paper, toys, pottery, primitives, and vintage accessories. Hours: Saturday, February 6 – Members Preview at 9:30 a.m. General Public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, February 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5.00 per person. The Museum Stores will be open both days and food and refreshments will be available for purchase from Top Shelf Mobile Cuisine.

With a history spanning four decades, WheatonArts has earned regional, national and international recognition for its unique collections and programs. WheatonArts is home to the Museum of American Glass with one of the most comprehensive collections of American glass in the world … from the first glass bottles made in America to celebrated works by Dale Chihuly and other contemporary artists who work in glass.
