I just retired after teaching art for 31 years in the public school systems of Millville, Woodstown and Adelaide, South Australia. Now I can paint, blow glass, garden, read and help my parents and grand children. Life is great!
I have been volunteering in the Glassfactory for the last 14 years. I narrate the 11:00, 1:30 and 3:30 shows there on Saturdays. When the glassblowers go to lunch between 12:00 and 1:00, I get the bench and make glass pieces to please and challenge myself. It is so much fun.
I love people and I love glass. There are so many nice people working and visiting the Village. Being exposed the creativity of the glass artists has enriched my life tremendously.
