WHEATONARTS ANNOUNCES NEW FAMILY ACTIVITIES FOR JANUARY, FEBRUARY AND MARCH
MILLVILLE, NJ – Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center has announced that it will offer
a variety of interactive activities for children and their families, beginning
January 15.
■ Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays -
January 15 to March 28, 2010. Make your own greeting card for any
occasion in The Gallery of Fine Craft. Materials will be provided to create a
card for Valentine's Day, St.
Patrick's Day, Easter, Birthday, Anniversary, Wedding, New House and any other
occasion that visitors would like to celebrate with a handmade card. Complimentary
hot beverages will be available.
■ Monthly Door Prizes in Museum Stores. Visitors may enter their names in each of the
stores to be eligible to win door prizes in this monthly drawing. No purchase
necessary. Winners’ names will be drawn on January 31, February 28 and March
28. Winners do not need to be present to win.
■ Winter Clearance Sale in the Museum Stores. 20% to 75% off selected merchandise.
The sale ends April 1, 2010.
■ February 6 and 7. Chocolate Dipping in the General Store. Dip assorted sweet treats such as marshmallows, cookies and pretzels into
melted chocolate.
■ February 12, 13 and 14. Celebrate Presidents Weekend. Receive a free Wheaton
President's Bottle with every purchase in the Museum Stores.
■ February 27 and 28. Create a Tissue Paper Flower in the Brownstone Emporium. Materials
provided.
■ March 12, 13 and 14. Wear some green or show some green and receive an Irish Token with
purchase in the Museum Stores.
■ March 27 and 28. Chocolate "Peep"

In January, February and March WheatonArts is open Friday,
Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. WheatonArts offers free admission
during these three months only. It is free to shop and stroll. The Museum of
American Glass and all of the museum stores are open. The Artist Studios and
the Down Jersey Folklife Center are closed during these three months.
WheatonArts returns to its six-day operating schedule on April 1.
