WHEATONARTS’ FAMILIES PARTICIPATE DAY - MAKE ART,
MEMORIES AND FRIENDS
The workshops require
registration and some age limits apply. They are: Tooled Leather, Ages 10 and
up; Mosaic Birdhouses, Ages 10 and up; Soap Carving, Ages 8 and up; Jewelry Wire
Work, Ages 12 and up; Door Knob Baskets, Ages 8 and up; Ukrainian Beadwork,
Ages 10 and up; Fused Glass Tiles, Ages 8 and up; Polymer Clay Beads, Ages 6
and up; and Clay (ages to be determined).
The open activities do not
require registration and they include: Blow A Glass Bubble, Ages 6 and up;
Paint Ceramic Tiles, All Ages; Paint A Mural, All Ages; Design A Bandana, Ages
4 and up; Mobiles, All Ages; Patchwork Pots, Ages 5 and up; and Creativity
Center, All Ages.
Space is limited. Registration
begins at 9:45 a.m. No pre-registrations will be accepted. Workshops begin at
10:30 a.m. Open activities are offered from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. WheatonArts is
open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The program is included in
the price of admission to WheatonArts. Admission: $10.00 Adults, $9.00 Senior
Citizens, and $7.00 Students. Children five and under are free. Visitors also
