ORNAMENT DESIGN WINNERS ANNOUNCED
MILLVILLE, NJ - Hundreds of entries were submitted between November 1 and December 21 for the first Ornament Design Competition at WheatonArts.
The winning designs were selected on December 21 and created in the Glass Studio on Saturday, December 23.
The winners of the 2006 Ornament Design Competition at WheatonArts are:
First Place: Lorraine Pinter, Mt. Ephraim, NJ
Winner of $500 of WheatonArts Glass
Second Place: Sherri Bankard, Littlestown, PA
Winner of $300 of WheatonArts Glass
Third Place: Rebecca Lodge, Clarksboro, NJ
Winner of $200 of WheatonArts Glass
WheatonArts is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., in January, February and March. Admission is reduced during these three months: Adults $9.00, Senior Adults $8.00 and Students $6.00. Children five and under are free. The Crafts Studios are closed and the train is not operational. WheatonArts resumes its six-day operating schedule on April 1.
