Make Your Own Beads

Under the direction of one
of WheatonArts’ staff artists, participants learn how to manipulate slender glass rods over a
torch to create various bead shapes. The cost is $55.00 plus $6.00 for shipping
and handling.
This program joins the
current Make Your Own Paperweight and Blow A Bowl or Vase Form experiences. The Make Your
Own Paperweight Program fee is $65.00 plus $7.00 for shipping and handling. To
blow a bowl or vase form the fee is $125.00 plus $10.00 shipping and handling.

139. Gift certificates are available for these programs through the Arthur

The minimum age to
participate in each program is 18 years old. Participants receive a
complimentary pass for the day. Anyone wishing to accompany the participant in
the Flameworking or Glass Studio to watch the experience must purchase a
general admission ticket.
WheatonArts is open
Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., April through December. Open Labor
Day. Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. General
admission: Adults $10.00, Senior Citizens $9.00 and Students $7.00. Children five
and under are free. Shopping and strolling is free except during outdoor
events. Free parking.
