WHEATON VILLAGE HOSTS ANNUAL HOLIDAY SALE OF STUDIO GLASS AND POTTERY

MILLVILLE, NJ – The Annual Holiday Studio Sale at Wheaton Village, November 25, 26 and 27, features a wide selection of work from studio glass artists, Melanie Guernsey and David Leppla, plus hundreds of Wheaton Village overstocks, prototypes and seconds. It is first-come, first-served, and quantities are limited. Many items are reduced 50 to 70 percent. Also on sale, a variety of ceramic mugs, bowls, pitchers, platters, and vases by Wheaton Village resident artist, Terry Plasket. No ticket is required to attend the sale.

The museum stores will remain open until 7 p.m. on November 25 only. “Friends of Wheaton Village” (members) receive a special 20 percent discount on each purchase this day only. Visitors who purchase $25.00 or more will receive a glass snowflake. The museum stores will be open seven days a week, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., from November 25 through December 31. Free gift wrapping is available in the Brownstone Emporium for all purchases. There is no admission charge to shop in the museum stores or stroll the grounds.

A ticket is required to visit the other Wheaton Village attractions. They are the Museum of American Glass, Glass Studio in the T. C. Wheaton Glass Factory, Ceramics, Woodcarving, and Flameworking Studios, the Down Jersey Folklife Center, half-scale model 1863 C. P. Huntington Train at the restored 1897 Palermo Train Station, and a full service restaurant located adjacent to the Village.

Admission: $10.00 Adults, $9.00 Senior Citizens and $7.00 Students. Children five and under are free. Children 12 and under are free on Saturdays and Sundays when accompanied by a paying adult through December 31.
