ANTIQUE BOTTLE SHOW
MILLVILLE, NJ - Wheaton Village, in association with the Federation of Historical Bottle Collectors, presents the Antique Bottle Show, June 12. The show features over 40 of the foremost antique bottle dealers from across the country. Selections include early glass, bitters, stoneware, antique advertising, fruit jars, free blown glass and trade cards.
The exhibit, “Hair Tonics, Barber Bottles and Colognes,” from the FOHBC opened in March and continues through March 2006 in the Museum of American Glass Bottle Room. Gay LeCleire Taylor, Museum of American Glass curator, will provide a guided tour of the exhibit on Saturday, June 11, at 2 p.m.
An “Early Buyer” ticket is available for Saturday, from 4 to 7 p.m., and
Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The cost is
$25.00.
Show hours are 10 a.m. to 4
p.m. in the Event Center. Admission: $10.00 Adults, $9.00 Seniors and
$7.00 Students. Children five and under are free. The Museum of American
Glass, Craft Studios, Glass Studio in the T. C. Wheaton Glass Factory, Down
Jersey Folklife Center, and museum stores are included with the price of
admission. Food and refreshments will be available. Free parking.
