Locally Made and Fair Trade

The Brownstone Emporium Boutique, newly expanded in our main room, features clothing and jewelry from local designers, hand painted silk wearable art, unique accessories in leather and fabric, eclectic lamps and a growing line of children's clothing and gifts. The boutique also offers items by Fair Trade Federation artists from around the world.

A full selection of colorful blown glass from the Glass Studio at WheatonArts, including pieces inspired by the collection of our Museum of American Glass, is available for sale in the Brownstone Emporium. We also offer an impressive assortment of blown, fused and pressed glass from notable American glass manufacturers such as Fenton Art Glass, Mosser, and Glass Eye Studio.






Meet Visiting Artist: Kathy Robinson
Saturday, June 11 2011, 11 a.m to 4 p.m.*
in the Brownstone Emporium for a Trunk Show!
Kathy Robinson Batik is a collection of silk wearables employing the ancient wax-resist method of decorating fabric. 'I start with a white silk "canvas" and proceed to dye, outline with a tjanting, paint then repeat the process until the desired result is achieved- the final piece is a "one of one".'

Elise Winters
creates one-of-a-kind art jewelry characterized by luminous opalescent surfaces and undulating forms, suggestive of natural phenomena. Her work has been accessioned into the permanent collections of Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts, New York’s Museum of Art and Design and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and other major art  museums across the country
.



Deb DiMarco will be coming into the Brownstone on Saturday, June 25* for a Trunk Show from 11am - 4pm. See her latest creations during the Fantasy Faire (included with cost of admission.)
