Museum of American Glass
At the Museum of American Glass, there are year-round opportunities for volunteers to help us share information with the public about glass and glassmaking in the United States.
Front Desk Hosts and Hostesses are needed to assist in welcoming all visitors to the Museum, giving them a brief orientation to the Museum and answering questions about its collections. For those aspiring to give tours of the collection as a Docent, we offer a concentrated training course, taught by the Museum curator. After completing the nine week course, new docents continue their training by teaming up with senior docents, practicing their public speaking techniques until they are fully prepared to conduct guided tours independently.
Please contact Doris Abeling in the Volunteer Office, at 1-800-998-4552

application.
