March 30 – Paper Cranes: Sculptural Hangings
11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Suggested Ages: 6 & above
The Japanese word, “origami” is a combination of two words in Japanese: “ori” which means “to fold” and “kami” which means “paper.” In this workshop you will learn how to fold a traditional Peace Crane. String, beads, and other objects will be available to use as you assemble your cranes into a sculptural hanging. Join our community art project “1,000 Cranes” by leaving a few cranes behind for us to use in a installation on our campus in 2019.

All materials are provided. Reservations are encouraged.  Walk-ins welcome if seats are available. Click here to sign up online or call 856.825.6800
