Levent Firat
Levent Firat has studied Oud for more than 15 years. His first maestro was Ayhan Altinkuslar, a professor at Dokuz Eylul University, Turkey. Mr. Firat improved significantly his technique with his second maestro Cinucen Tanrikorur, who was one the most talented and famous Oud players of his time. He toured extensively throughout Turkey with ensembles such as “Mengi” and “Ekin”. After coming to U.S.A. he participated in several concerts in the Philadelphia area.
