Dennis has over thirty years of Salem Community College teaching scientific glass technology, glass chemistry and glass art. He also enjoyed challenges of being a scientific glass technologist at the Hercules Research Center for over 25 years. Dennis has also enjoyed teaching at Urban Glass and The Studio at the Corning Museum of Glass. Long active in the American Scientific Glassblowers Society, he chaired the education and internship committees and was sectional chair of Delaware Valley for 7 years.
Dennis began his education at the University of Delaware majoring in chemistry and botany. He received an AAS in Scientific Glass Technology from SCC and was relocated to Pasadena, CA to assist in the development of the first laser printers. Dennis graduated magna cum laude from Glassboro State University, now Rowan University with a B.A. in sculpture. Dennis and brother David now enjoying sculpting paperweights and recently sculptures incorporating electronic tubes in their studio.
