My name is Daniel Duffy and I started this art to impress a girl, who would later become my wife. Literally one of our first dates was selling prints to Phillies fans we met tailgating before a game. For the past 8 years, I’ve been a full-time artist creating hand-made images commemorating Philadelphia sports teams, athletes, and landmarks.
For each piece, I select the text that is meaningful and specific to the image. Whether it be statistics, speeches, song lyrics, or street names, the text I choose provides the substance behind what makes that image iconic. In addition to my Philadelphia pieces, I have also created works for Major League Baseball, Gatorade, TED Talks, Hilton, Ameriprise Financial, and the Baseball Hall of Fame.
