Past Fellows
Until recently, Brent Marshall worked out of a cooperative glass studio in Cleveland Ohio, however, he now resides and maintains a studio in West Yorkshire, England. He received a BFA in Glass from the Cleveland Institute of Art, and an MFA from the University of Illinois. In 1990, Brent was awarded the Lilly Endowment Grant for personal development of glass casting techniques.
His work has shown throughout the U.S. and internationally, has been
published twice in the New Glass Review, and was represented recently in the
1999 Chicago SOFA exhibition. For the past 12 years, Brent taught
Fundamentals of Glass Blowing courses at the Cleveland Institute of Art's
Evening Program.
