Megan Biddle was introduced to hot glass during a High School internship where she worked as an assistant in a production glass studio in Carmel, NY. She attended the Rhode Island School of Design, where she received her BFA in the Glass Program. While a student at RISD, she was selected as the Glass Departments representative for the Glass Art Society Conference in Seto, Japan. She worked closely with Jack Wax and received her Masters of Fine Arts from the Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005. Megan has attended Pilchuck, Penland, Corning and Haystack as a student and Teaching Assistant. In 2006 she was selected to give a presentation on her work at the Glass Art Society in St. Louis, MO. She has showed her work in numerous group shows along the East coast as well as international venues including Iceland and the Czech Republic. She received a Fellowship at The A.I.R. Gallery in New York City, which culminated into a solo exhibition of her work that took place June 2007. Megan currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
