C. Matthew Szosz, Oakland, California
Born
in Rhode Island, Matthew Szösz has received a BFA, BID (Industrial
Design), and a MFA (Glass) from the Rhode Island School of
Design.
He's worked professionally in art and art related fields in Rhode Island, New Mexico and California for the last ten years. He has received the Pilchuck Scholarship, a Stein Fund Grant and an Award of Excellence in Graduate Studies from the Rhode Island School of Design.
This fall he will be an Emerging Artist in Residence at Pilchuck Glass School, Stanwood, WA.
