Winters Hours: -- OPEN Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, 10am to 5pm, in January, February & March. Down Jersey Folklife Center and Artists Studios are closed during these three months.
“Cycles and Symbols: Nature in Glass” -- This exhibit examines some of the many ways that contemporary artists working with glass use nature as a source of their work and an inspiration for ideas they explore in relation to memory, time, transition, place, identity, origins of life, beauty, fragility, strength, and protection.

Japanese Ceremonial Dolls -- Down Jersey Folklife Center Exhibition. The exhibition will feature an extensive collection of ceremonial dolls, the meanings and aesthetics of which will be interpreted as both related to the Hinamatsuri and Tango no Sekku festival traditions in Japan and to the present-day practices of the South Jersey Japanese-American community.

WheatonArts and Southern New Jersey Artists -- An invitational show and sale of current work by our own WheatonArts Artists and a variety of Southern New Jersey artists working in glass, ceramics, wood and two dimensional art.
Nature Inspired -- This exhibit examines the role of nature in contemporary art. Each artist will be chosen for their unique vision of the theme of nature and how it is represented in their artwork. Works in glass, ceramic, wood, metal and jewelry will be available.

Paul Stankard Demonstration and Reception Paul J. Stankard 50th Anniversary Exhibit Demonstration and Reception --Visit on Sunday, April 3 at 1:00 p.m. for a rare public demonstration by Paul Stankard. Gallery Exhibition opening reception will follow.
St. Patrick's Celebration in the Stores Complimentary Hands on Fun for All Ages -- The General store is getting dippy with the food sampling. Visitors will be dipping into the most popular green dips. Yumm! Create fabulous, fuzzy Shamrock pins to make & wear home in the Brownstone. And in The Gallery you can make a Leprechaun Trap. No Leprechauns will escape the tempting Leprechaun Trap that looks like his own hat!

Deb DiMarco "Trunk Show" -- Local artist, Deb DiMarco, will be coming into the Brownstone on Saturday, June 25 during the Fantasy Faire for a "Trunk Show" of her glass jewelry.
Golf Classic -- 10th Annual WheatonArts Golf Classic, Running Deer Golf Club, Pittsgrove, NJ (All proceeds benefit the arts programs for children at WheatonArts)
PNC "FAMILY FUN DAY" --There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Brownstone at 1:00 pm to kick off a "Bead Release" by local glass artist Deb DiMarco and her fellow glass bead artists at WheatonArts. A "Children's Gallery Walk" is scheduled in the Gallery of Fine Craft at 1:30. Local artist Alyce Laufer will be stopping in at the General Store during the day to talk about bead making and demonstrating the art of macrame.
Vitreous Music: The Making of Holiday Instruments in Glass -- Join us in our studio during the Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend and watch our glass artists create amazing traditional and imagined instruments out of hot, molten glass. Both percussive and wind instruments will be designed and created before your eyes. On Saturday and Sunday from 1pm-3pm our staff will be available to help you play these marvelous instruments for yourself!

The Great Square Pumpkin Come and see the Great Square Pumpkin being made! Using metal molds and incredible skill, WheatonArts Staff and Artists will be creating big and small square pumpkins all weekend long in the Wheaton Arts Glass Studio during the Festival of Fine Craft.

New Harmonies: Celebrating American Roots Music -- This exhibition presented in partnership with the New Jersey Council for the Humanities “tells the story of a nation through the music of its people. Bringing together photographs, recordings, instruments, lyrics, and artist profiles, this Smithsonian Institution touring exhibition explores the distinct cultural identities of gospel, country, blues and other forms of roots music as they record the history of the American people and set the foundation for many musical genres appreciated world wide today.” As a host of the New Harmonies Exhibition, we at WheatonArts will also a wide spectrum of public programs including two concerts and a series of workshops exploring the instrument making process.

Trick or Treat -- at WHEATONARTS Sunday, October 30, 2011 1pm to 4pm with a “Costume Parade” at 3pm. Trick or Treat in your Halloween costume throughout WheatonArts. Enjoy interactive Halloween performances presented by Mystic Realms®. Children will meet Doctor Van Helsing, the hunter of Dracula, the Grymm Witches, Ichabod Crane fleeing the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow, Doctor Frankenstein working to build his monster, and the Mummy from Ancient Egypt.
