Instructor Bio: Susan Morgan first started her fascination with glass in 1985 with a stained glass class. In 1990 she took "Introduction to Hot Glass" at Salem Community College with the goal of learning to recycle the scraps from the stained glass projects and the hope of somehow mixing the hot glass with stained glass. For the next six years Susan volunteered at Wheaton Village (now known as Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center) as a lampwork artist/demonstrator. She was then offered an associate lampworker position at WheatonArts.
Susan taught
lampworking classes at Carlisle School of Glass Art in 2006.
Susan added
"Make Your Own Glass Beads" to the WheatonArts existing "Make
Your Own"
programs. Her work now includes stained glass, fusing, lampworking,
recycling, sterling wire work and mixing all of the above!
