About WheatonArts
You can create your own Legacy by making a deferred gift to WheatonArts by will, through a life insurance designation, or a charitable remainder trust. And since we are a certified non-profit organization by the Internal Revenue Service, any assets allocated to WheatonArts will reduce your taxable estate.
Some deferred gifts are unrestricted. That means
they can be used by WheatonArts for any mission-related purpose. Unrestricted gifts are popular with people who want support WheatonArts, while giving maximum flexibility to the WheatonArts staff and Board in how their support is used.
Deferred gifts can also be restricted by the donor to support specific programs or services at an institution. Restricted contributions are most popular with individuals who want to assure that a favorite Village program or service will receive the funding it needs to succeed.
Deferred gifts may also be for endowment only. That means the gift must be invested, and WheatonArts can only use the income generated from that investment to support it operations each year. Endowed gifts are designed to assure the long-term financial stability of an institution by generating revenues year after year.
And of course, endowment gifts can also be restricted to assure the long-term financial stability of an institution by generating revenues year after year for a specific program or service.
